No dorky topknot to belittle him..He is the prototype of a rustic dog. You can see his eyes, he can see you…
These last months have been very trying, with the weather, work, the dogs to take care of and keeping GuyGuy happy…and healthy to his best. I have had to step back and try to stay as zen as possible for him, and me..since we do know they feel everything. He is doing as well as can be expected. The verdict is chronic hepatitis and he most likely will not die of it, but hopelly of “just” old age.For many months, I was hoping he would reach his mother’s age of 11.5, then I was hoping he would make it to the new year and now we’re in February and I am thinking that perhaps he could make it to his birthday in April.I have had to shut off some oytside perturbating factors to be able to fully concentrate on him..so far so good. Here’s a little video…GuyGuy_Rules
SOOO, here we are thinking that we owe it all “just” to Mrs Pêtre..well, well well..
After taking the time to finally sit down and tabulate Coccolina’s descendance, I have come up with the unbelievable figure of 1100 as she turns out to probably be the Barbet that is present in, more than 1/2 of all Barbet pedigrees since her first litter in 2007, if that number is 2000 and still an awesome 1/3 if the total is 3000. In the Barbet world, there are no real statistics and nothing official. What I have tabulated IS OFFICIAL, and taken from databases.
I will be able to do a more precise breakdown in the future as to which kennels her descendants have contributed to and believe you me..the list is long!
She is in fine health and enjoying life. Happy birthday my lovely girl and many more!!
