I could not have said it any better myself…

In English AND in French…about a mega problem in the French dog world.I confirm it’s the same situation but worse for the Barbet..but after all, who am I to say?!
No names, but…
GuyGuy all better!
Sisters meeting up at almost 13 years of age !
Coccolina recently met up with her sister in the south of France. Short visit, but we enjoyed it. “Behind” Arkann ( brown) is her master and then of course, we think of her mistress who passed on a few years ago. People we/you meet are often through our passion of dogs and it is ever so important to keep up relations with dogs and their people. You never know when it’s too late..and then?
Arkann was fit as a whistle like her sister..You can definitely recognize a “type” here..
Cherchez l’errrrrrreur..

With more and more designer breeds around and people wanting “one”, for xyz reasons, it is becoming very difficult for the Vieux Barbet to survive, since many newer breeders are not particularly interested in the breed’s history and would much rather “start from here on”. However they do love to mention it is a very old French breed…but skip over the important information…and selection to type.
Now EVEN the Australian Labradoodle people are showing lineage….
