As I am lucky enough to have my dogs with me here, it’s nice when one of the “pups” from previous litters visits her parents..Coccolina and GuyGuy..
Pretty Vera…living a great life in the UK. I am so proud of you, Vera girl…
Le Looping..training to become Guide Dog for the Blind.
Le Loostik ( and below)
Lautrec( un petit air de Coccolina…)
The Sky is the limit!
Le Frenchy…do you think he looks like his daddy?
Le Frenchy de la serve de la chapelle d’Alexandre.
In this litter, there are companions, and dogs with natural retrieving instinct. The one and the other are complimentary. I am vvery happy, after 1 year of waiting, to see that they correspond to my selection work and what I think my Barbets should look like and they are all healthy and very affable and caring companions. This was a litter of 11, and they are all lovely!
Vennie and Froggy’s (Outdoors Abergavennie x French Lover Dog de la serve de la chapelle d’Alexandre) pups:
La Lady de Los Angeles ( called Leap). She retrieved the antlers!
Lady Mellow Yellow ( Cocco)
Lady Loli Lina ( left and right)
Lady Mellow Lithia
Liriope ( Liri) (above and below)
Guyguy in the back, Froguette and Coccolina…who is going on 12..is first!
You can recognize the line. Slight variations, but true to the “old breedtype”. This took years of cooperation and trust, to produce or reproduce the type. We are right…. on target.Guess which one is Iabadabadoo? Her sister is there too and they all have Coccolina in their pedigree. Nowadays more and more Barbets have Coccolina in their pedigrees ( for obvious reasons)!
How do I make them happy? Let me count the ways…
Today it was green beans, pasta and raw beef covered with homemade chicken stock…
